THE PROCESS
A DETAILED LOOK AT OUR PROCESS

COLOR CONSULATION
If the client chooses, we will start the interior painting with a color consultation. This includes a consultation as well as selected colors being shown in your space on color snap. Learn more about our consultations here.
02.
PREPPING
Once the colors are selected and approved by the client, our team will come and move all furniture from the rooms being painted (for ceilings) or to the center of the room (for walls). Then we will lay tarps down to cover any exposed carpet and rosin paper hardwood/tile. Plastic will be dropped for ceiling painting to protect the entire room. All switch plates, outlet covers and wall hung fixtures such as curtain rods will be removed.

PROTECTING
To protect the areas of your house we will tape all windows, doors and base trim. Caulking if necessary.

PAINT
Finally we get to the painting stage. The walls will be brushed and rolled with a minimum of two coats of high quality latex paint. For ceilings we will spray them with a minimum of two coats of high quality latex paint.
06.
CLEAN
After the touch up’s have all been made, we will get to cleaning. We will start by peeling all tape and plastic and removing all tarps and prepping materials. All light covers and wall fixtures will be put back up. The area will be vacuumed/cleaned and belongings returned to their original locations. Our goal is to leave your home cleaner than when we arrived!

Our area of service and estimates do depend on our work load. We are based out of Iowa City, so if we are full for the season we will not offer services in outlying areas.
